The new season of Corte Madera Boys’ Basketball is underway. I’ve got a 10-person lineup of intelligent, well-rounded, and respectful 7th graders. Although we mixed up the two teams a bit this season—there are about 20 boys in total split into two teams—I’ve got many of the same players from last year’s Championship season.
Corte Madera School is based out of Portola Valley, CA tucked neatly in Stanford’s backyard. This year we’ll be in a Menlo Park league playing in Onetta Harris Gym. With only four practices to prepare for our first game of the season (Saturday, 12.15.07) we’re already looking enthusiastic and ready to have some fun. I’ll keep you posted as the season goes along. In the meantime, wish us a good season of teamwork, unity, and fun.
Go Panthers!
