My latest kick…Jurassic 5. The album “Feedback” is smooth. Haven’t listened to it in a while and I’ve been hooked all day on it.

Penguins are cool. Red penguins are really cool. I’ve been involved in web/graphic design for eight years independently, with Buzz, and recently with Greg DiPaolo. Greg and I are the Co-Directors of Red Penguin Design™, a creative group that helps launch or initiate an online presence for individuals, businesses, and organizations. We design logos, web sites, and brochures; set up e-commerce functionality, online marketing and advertising (often using free methods to help the customer); and we offer online/web advising services. Essentially, we’re here to help people get themselves online for more exposure, more leads, more fun.
Check out redpenguindesign.com and send us a note if you’ve got questions, interested in our services, or if you have feedback (we’re always open to feedback).

Right now and as of the last three hours, I’ve been stuck on Farewell Typewriter. I recently saw them in San Francisco and one of their songs in particular has really been resonating with me in the last few days. By the way, my good friend Grant Shellen is the lead singer and guitarist for Farewell Typewriter. He’s swell. He also sits three feet from me for eight hours a day. Go to their website and get the latest album. And listen carefully to the songs; the lyrics are not always necessarily the message you think these guys meant.
I’ve been on a Watching A Wreck kick. This is the song that has been going on in my head non-stop. I love it. The song describes exactly how I’ve felt for so many years. I think the wrecks can come around in my life. There’s always hope for wrecks to come around. I’ll never stop believing that.
At first this might seem strange. We’re 18 days into 2008 and I’m just now wishing you all a happy new year? Well, I’m wishing you prosperity and good health between today and January 18, 2009 (woah, it’s weird enough typing 2008). Actually, I’ve just been behind on posting fun stuff. Don’t even worry about it though. I’m going to have an entire series of posts…that’s right, a series of posts. Y’all aren’t ready for this.
